Ferdinand Zandbergen B.V. is a successful family business founded in 2005. We have grown into an organisation with around 80 employees. With the opening of the modern production facility in Woudenberg in 2008, Ferdinand Zandbergen B.V. achieved international market recognition for the production of meat and distribution of poultry. Our many years of experience, insight and knowledge of the market enable us to supply you with high quality products.

As an importer, exporter and producer, we are in a unique position to respond to the changing demands of our customers. We have a modern vehicle fleet and cold store at a strategic location, which means we can guarantee our customers “just-in-time” deliveries. The son of a butcher, Ferdinand Zandbergen's father started his own butcher's shop in 1955 in Leiden. It didn't stop there, however. The business soon expanded to include more butcher shops and demand emerged for a central purchasing point to provide the shops with quality meats. This resulted in business premises in Zoeterwoude and, besides operations for the butchers, this also saw the start of meat imports from South America and the processing of pork by-products.
It was here that the young Ferdinand Zandbergen took his first steps in the family business which, in the early nineties, moved to a more favourable location in the centre of the country. After concentrating on the import, processing and export of various meats, Ferdinand Zandbergen B.V. was established in 2005. The modern production facility on De Nort in Woudenberg came into operation in 2008. At this site today, several generations of the family work together with committed employees. Every day, we aim to provide the best possible service to our customers by continuously safeguarding quality, flexibility and fulfilling agreements.
