Our grandfather, a butcher at heart, laid the foundation stone in 1955 for what would grow into a thriving family business. What began as a modest butcher shop in Leiden steadily grew into a network of more than 15 butcher shops and a sizeable wholesale business. The love of meat was in our DNA, a legacy we grew up with.
